“It doesn’t matter what your background is or where you came from. If you have dreams and goals, that’s all that matters.”
– Serena Williams, professional tennis player
At Primrose Lane Primary School, we aim to provide a high-quality Physical Education curriculum that inspires every child to succeed; promoting excellence and equality for all. We believe that all our children should leave primary school physically literate, with a memorable experience of playing, leading and competing in a range of challenging and enjoyable active opportunities; developing sporting values, friendship and a life-long passion for physical activity and sport. We also strive to give as many children as possible the opportunity to participate in a variety of competitive sports during their school life, giving them the prospect of understanding what competition feels like, what it is like to be part of a team, and to be able to both win and lose with equal grace.
